Elisabeth B. Mahoney

Elisabeth was born in Glens Falls, New York in 1977 and was admitted to the New York State Bar and the U.S. District Court, Northern District of New York, in 2004. Her preparatory education was at Gettysburg College where she received her B.A. in Business Administration in 1999. Elisabeth’s legal education was at Albany Law School of Union University, where she received her J.D. in 2003.

Elisabeth began her career practicing law in a Glens Falls law firm for more than 16 years. In 2020, she followed the footsteps of her grandfather, Bill, and established her own practice. Elisabeth is a member of the Warren County and New York Bar Associations and the Adirondack Regional Chamber of Commerce. She is a founding member of the Adirondack Civic Center Coalition and is the current Chair of the Adirondack Hockey Coalition. She serves as an Alternate Governor to the ECHL for the Adirondack Thunder professional hockey team.

Previously, Elisabeth served as President of the Boards of the World Awareness Children’s Museum, the Greater Adirondack Home Aides and St. Mary’s-St. Alphonsus Regional Catholic School. She was also a member of the Hudson Headwaters Health Network Foundation.
